So the four of us headed to Nobu in what was to be a post-exams celebratory dinner. Located in Crown, it serves fusion Japanese. Unlike your typical Japanese restaurant, the place is filled with gwai-lo waiters greeting you althought having peeked into the kitchen, there were Japanese chefs.

We also decided to try sake. OMG the sake container thing was sooooo cute. It came in a bamboo container with bamboo-ish looking cups. I was so tempted to pull a Winona and take them home. Sigh, i sound so jakun.

Endamame. I dont know if its just psychology or what-nots but even the endamame tasted extra good. :)

The sashimi salad - and contrary to popular belief, i actually ate the vegetables, not just the sashimi. Just goes to show how delicious the salad sauce was to conceal the normally yucky veggie taste.

A MUST TRY -> the Black Cod Miso! Who knew fish could taste this good ?!?

Baby tiger prawns with a selection of 3 sauces. I think it was soy sauce, wasabi and some funky looking egg yolk sauce but isn't egg yolk. But i super liked the egg yolk looking thing followed by the wasabi thing :D

Some mini seafood platter thing which tasted ordinary and not much to shout about.

The sushi dinner platter.

The beef with wasabi salsa. This has to be the best steak i have ever tasted! i could just eat this everyday. That being said that we had steak at Squire's Loft the night before - a supposed place for the best steaks in town. I say go to Nobu for steaks!!!! The beef was so tender and juicy! YUM!

Rolls! House special rolls and soft shell crab rolls. Different then the normal rolls as they have the Vietnamese rice paper in addition to the normal Japanese roll.

And finally, DESSERT! Pictures not as good as i was too awed by the desserts and couldn't wait to sink my teeth into them :P

The fried something with pistachio ice cream. Was too engrossed into figuring which to start with that didn't pay attention to the waiter when she was telling us about the dessert. Basically biting into the little round ball releases chocolate like filling - its like a modern take on a muachi

The Bento Box. Chocolate cake with chocolate liquid that ooozes out and green tea ice cream. Super yummy!!!! :D

The price was not too bad. I guess you pay for the quality of the food and the service. Def will head back again, if there is anyone willing to join me :)

How much did it cost? I really want to go, but I am afraid my wallet can't take on the pain! T__T
