My camera died on me mid-way & i dont know how to open my dad's camera to take out the memory card even though there is a clearly stated open sign. Maybe camera's are only made to be open by their true owners or something ... wtf. Anyways here are some ... ok more like 1% of the pictures i took with my camera before it decided i should get a new one.
First half of the Beijing trip was due to my mum's business trip - collect some award for the hotel for being the best in Malaysia for business peeps or something like that. Anyways since the 'job' was for one night we had like 4 days to explore Beijing before my dad flew over. Being a hotelier my mum goes to Beijing and makes us go to Diao Yu Tai, a state guest house that is used to received VIPs from around the world.
Me, Farah (the PR Manager), Mum & brother in front of one of the doors to the main reception area ... i think.
With the Marketing Manager of Diao Yu Tai in front of some painting which apparently is super famous and which the girl who took this picture cut out. -_-"
In front of Villa 18. The best villa in the area.
And omg, the Manager guy who brought us around was so funny & hospitable. He made me take a picture outside, sitting on the grass where apparently Mao Zedong's wife, Jiang Qing rode her horse at.
Second half of the Beijing trip was with the dad - private cultural & sight-seeing tour.
In front of Tiananmen Square
Forbidden City.
And then my camera died. I'll upload more pictures from my camera & figure out how to open my dad's soon. Then i'll have a proper update or something. Now, i need to loose weight. Cheap TsingTao & Yanjin Beer plus Singha beer every night has been making me a fatty bom-bom. Oh and by cheap im talking about RMB5 (thats RM2.50) for a 600ml of Tsing Tao -> heaven!
p/s: Hui Wen, Nobu wasn't as expensive as i thought it would have been. The dinner was around AUD 80 per person that night. You should def try it!
