Of course my mom didn't let me get those platform heels. I had the next best thing - platform shoes. It ranged from my very first Miss Sixty RED platform sandals which my mum also bought in blue. I still remember how happy i was and it was on sale at TANGS! ... gee looking back i wonder why. :P Then i had the striped black and white platform slippers that i absolutely loved. Not only did it make me taller, it was super comfy i think i wore it almost everywhere. I also remembered making my parents buy me this super hideous grey boots that at that time i was convinced were the best shoes ever from Sg. Wang. Yes, i was just as l-a-l-a-h-o-p back then. -_-" Sad to say, my parents were right and i never actually got to wear those boots - Malaysian weather so hot how to wear ?!? They just sat there in the box til we actually shifted coz i totally forgot about them.
I remember the next craze to hit after the Spice Girls decided to disband were crop tops - with thanks to the All Saints.

They were so cool with their short shirts and super baggy pants with runners. I think my parents were pretty horrified with me walking around with my belly button exposed ala Britney when she first came out. Maybe she got the idea from them too?

I remember i mostly bought those crop tops from a specific shop coz they had the best designs and i remember having one that was a mixture of an orange collar, blue sleeves and the rest was white. -_-" Too bad i can't wear those crop tops no more ... can u say jelly tummy ? LOL!
