A good start to the weekend

Yesterday proved to be probably one of the best starts to the weekend. Had a nice dinner with the boy at The Ship where there was reminisce of the past. Everyone i know seems to have dined at that place in their younger years. Im no different. It was like a weekend treat to dine there considering the fact that it was probably one or maybe the only place that served good Western food back in those days. Omg, i just used the phrase 'back in those days'. Anyways havent been thre in ages and the food is pretty good, just like it used to be ... i think.

Then it was off to meet Pei Ni and Jen who were down for the weekend. Took them to Sky Bar at Traders Hotel where we met Sing & the Stella Marris gang. First time there and i loved the place. Though it would have been better if there were fans around or something as the place got quite humid - no wind and its open aired. I guess they have a pool in the middle of the place to make sure you dont get too drunk & thus embaress yourself by falling in to it. :) The staff there are super friendly and im actually quite surprised with that. The service could have been better but i guess they were coping with a full house so its totally understandable. You have no idea how culture shocked i was when i got back only to find poor service & rude waiters. Last night was the opposite & i loved it.

I should post pictures but my camera is still pretty muck konked. I need to get a new one ... soon i should hope. O well.

Anyways house cleaning and Chinese New Year decorations for the house is next on the list. As weird as it sounds, i like doing the latter. Something to do with getting into the spirit of things.

Which should be done now. :)
