So to get into the spirit of Raya, we decided to have our own version of open house food ... Oklah, honestly we planned to head to Bismi for some mamak food but then we realised it was Hari Raya and not too sure if the mamak's here are the same as back home that celebrate Raya. So off to the Asian grocer and the process of making our own mamak meal :





Ok, so there isnt any maggie goreng, nasi lemak, roti telur etc etc etc. but its a start right. Plus atleast now i know that the nice roti canai is from laguna (richmond roti canai or something like that) and not the one which we bought from the russell st grocer - can you say NESSSSSS PLEASSSEEEE!!!

Anywasy library season has started once again so the nerd mode should be kicking in soon.

BUT ... the holdback is that ANTM cycle 9 has just started and romantic princess is still in the process of screening. If only i could be as in to my books as i was into these series.
