The attempt at cupcake making was semi-accomplished. Semi because it did turn out like cupcakes but the sad thing was it was a lil' burnt. :(

BUT they do taste pretty good though. Funny thing was that it started out with me wanting to make cupcakes but somehow ended with the boys getting excited over it and chipping in to help. I dont have an electric mixer at home so thankfully the boys had some muscles to spear or i might still be mixing the cupcake mix.

Im gonna perfect this Chocolate Cupcake and then hopefully move on to icing & decorations ... actually i shouldn't ... i should be studying. :(

hey Tina, I do read your blog from time to time. I would like to make a little suggestion for your cupcakes.

Lower the temperature by approximately 10-15degrees from what is required as I can see you are using the black colour non-stick type of pan. And the cooking time should be about 25 minutes (if at approximately 160-170degrees) To check on if they're cook, use a skewer (or toothpick) and insert it into the middle of the cupcake. If it comes out clean, then it's cook!

Happy experimenting! ^_^

cowiemoo: Thanks for the tip. I think the mode im using might be wrong. Placed them at 170 for 20 minutes. Guess i'll just have to trial and error on the oven mode - its a rented place so i have no idea wat each icon means :(
