the changing times

Perhaps its the new years resolution, maybe even maturity or could it just be the changing times ?!? All i seem to want is to do on a Friday night is chill, relax and enjoy my alcohol(though not always necessary for the later). No more the nights of endless rounds of tequila, hugging the toilet bowl (its not funny when ur down there), random associations etc.

This night was no different. A nice random dinner with the bf and the brother to Hard Rock Cafe, enjoying the ribs,burgers and the alcohol. I said no to beer and opted for the less calorie inducing Long Island Iced Tea. :) Im not sure it makes any difference but its just comforting. Anyhoo the night was nice with endless chatter and random updates, thrown in with a few gossips here & there. Who knew men could gossip once given their beers?

Then it was off to Lin Control for a bottle of wine with Lyn. Note: only ONE bottle consumed this time, so there was no toilet hugging, just in case you're wondering. A nice way to end the night and it kinda feels like bedtime. Maybe after another episode of Gilmore Girls.

Is this the sign of ageing or is it just the changing times? Perhaps a bit of both?
