Birthday Surprise

It was Jien Ming's (hope i spelled it right) birthday the other day. The ongoing tradition seems to be surprisin peeps on their bday. This time however, many thanks to Sing, the surprise of showing at the Jien Ming's doorstep with a cake was foiled due to a certain someone sending the birthday boy a text message tellin him what we had plan to do. Doh!

Anyways we went ahead with the plan & added a lil twist to it. :)

The problem with the whole master plan was that we had to enter by the back entrance of Ormond. That meant walking one big round from Royal Parade, throught Tin Alley and then through to College Cresent. It was worth the walk tho.

The cake. Note the candle. The super big candle. We forgot to buy candles & the only candle i had was the huge ass ones that were used while i had a blackout. Hey, it works and thats what counts!

Like i said, it wasnt a normal surprise & as soon as Jien Ming blew the candle, he found the cake smashed in his face. This was followed by eggs, flour, the Homebrand Cola mix and etc.





Seeing as it was his 18th birthday, we made him a special alcoholic drink, what with being legal & all that. However, being such bad planners, the only bottle we had was that of Mount Franklin. So much for a kick ass drink in a super cool bottle.
