the Commonwealth opening nite

The opening for the Commonwealth Games was last nite at the MCG in Melbourne. Thankfully, i didnt have to fork out godd knows how much to watch the fireworks as i live in a low rise apartment that shockingly enough has a fantastic view of the city & its outer limits! the fireworks were great bt i think the ones at the begining were better than the end as it had like this sequence thingy n the colours were so pretty - it was like the fireworks were waving hello or something. Anyways didnt actually watch the whole opening nite on tv, not coz my "plasma" is too small, bt the fact that some mates came over & we were too engrossed with our game - KINGS (its a game with cards where the person who gets the KING card decides what 2 other people must do - lets just say there was alot of wriggling while we played ;P ).

Just read the papers & kinda sad.... well not entirely sad bt more like regretting not watching the opening nite as it looked really good & the performers were dressed so colourfully! Apparently there was this skit where a fairy or something along that line was teaching a boy how to fly. O well!

I have to stop procrastinating & start doin my lab report which is due tomorrow. Problem is that i have no idea how to answer the questions bout puc19 & how to obtain a better result using the agrose electophoresis gel fro fragments that are larger that 15kbp... ok i just realised i rambled on bout some techy stuff...

Currently im enjoying my mash potatoes which i have just added cheese - can u say YUM? which also leads to CAN YOU SAY FATTENING????
