my last formal hall

it was my last formal hall ... so sad la! :( i may complain bout how trinity sucks n all that bt seriously it has been HOME for me for the past year n i have to say i truly enjoyed myself, although i think i could have been more active, o well! nways it was kinda sad that it was my last time wearing the 'harry potter' like robe, standing waiting for the tutors n dean with guest to come into the hall, eating bread while announcements were made & quietly saying AMEN after grace :) so sad!!!!! im gonna miss formal hall... its kinda fun in a way coz u get to pretend ur in a far far away place (which i am) & in a totally diff time/era or sumthin, that is until u take off ur robe... :(

nways considering the fact that i have been pretty inactive in MOST trinity stuff, i decided to volunteer myself for the 'get foundation studies students to join trinity college thing' .. i dont think thats the right def of it bt i cant be bothered wat to call it.. nways there i was, felt like i was auctioning myself off or sumthin.. the only comfort was that there was prob only 8 fsp students? so it wasnt that bad, kinda wished there was more n wished that they actually spoke up n had interaction n all that bt i guess being "asians" we are all so shy n soft spoken and all that... which is a trait we should try to change... not that its bad or anything.. its just sometimes its a bit the dull - thats wat i think i learnt from my stay at trinity - to be more brave to voice my opinions and be more outspoken :)

im gonna miss trinity!!!! :( well atleast today at formal hall i had chicekn parma! the first time ever!!! tho was kinda sad there was no chocolate cake.. o well... will be looking foward to infromal hall then

for melb uni students :
there still is time... go vote for fusion in the elections coz they claim to fight for international students rights for concession... i dont know how well they will succeed in this bt yeah.. its a food for thought there... n im not saying that u shud vote bt it would be kinda cool if we get concession as well... ps: i have not voted YET bt plan to do so sometime tomorrow... votes end at 12, i think


o ps : vince just told me that melb uni is the ranked 19th best uni in the world ! wooohooo!! n is the leading pack amongst other australian unis :)i suddenly feel so smart
